Resolution for the new year: be more
communicative
I know that I have been neglecting my website
during the last year. To make things better in 2010, I decided to be
more on top of what's happening, and to use the most current tools
for that. Therefore I joined the large community of Twitter, and I
embedded a news widget on top of this site that is going to keep you
updated. Please feel free to sign up and follow me, or just come
back to this site and check what's new. I'm looking forward to many
interesting tweets, and hope to be able to stay in touch with you in
a better way. To all of you a happy, healthy and successful New Year
2010!
YouTube video of Bach Cello Suite has over
100,000 views
I am very happy and proud that
my YouTube video of the Prelude to Johann Sebastian Bach's Cello
Suite No. 1 is receiving so much attention. So far, around
118,000 people have viewed the video, and almost 800 people have
left mostly very encouraging comments. Thank you so very much for
that! Especially the 5 star rating makes me extremely proud. Of
course not every viewer fully agrees with every aspect of the video,
be it the fact that it is played on an electric bass instead of the
cello, or the way how I interpret the song. I decided not to reply
to any of the comments, neither the positive nor the negative ones,
since I think YouTube is an excellent chance for viewers to have an
open discussion, and everybody should be able to mention their
opinion without an instant interference of the author. However, I
read all the comments and take all remarks to heart. And if anyone
has a question, I am very happy to reply. In that case please send
me an email to my address
contact@martinmotnik.com.
